Beginner Advice

I have a digital marketing background (web design/dev etc.). I am new to ERPs but learning quickly. We use Cloudsuite Distribution and would like to integrate a Shopify site with CSD so that new orders are posted directly into CSD. I have a very capable developer but he is new to ERPs as well. I want to make sure I am providing him with all the resources he may need. Besides the ION API documentation, where else should I point him for helpful information to get started? Thanks in advance for any useful information.

The YouTube channel is a great resources for quick tutorials and demos. There is a ION and Shopify integration demo that you might find particularly useful.
Other than that, the community here is always willing to help if you have any specific questions.

I would suggest you review the integration options that are available via BODs. Documentation starts at :

I should have also mentioned that for sending in the Sales Order BODs, we offer ION Message Service APIs (IMS). This can also be used to receive BODs, like; ItemMaster, CustomerMaster, Order Shipment...
