We are upgrading from S3 HR to GHR on Landmark and I am curious as to how other organizations handled, or plan to handle, user security on the S3 side when moving or implementing various systems over to landmark. We are 'on premise' and have a full set of customized Roles and security rules defined in S3. Now we are implementing GHR; moving our HR and PA systems over into Landmark. I’ve been told that our plan is to build GHR on landmark as our ‘system of record’ and then use BOD’s to populate the data back into S3. Our users will still be able to access the HR and PA forms, reports,etc on the S3 side but once GHR is implemented, that access will become 'Inquiry ONLY'. This will require a lot of changes or new development within our lawson security, as we have many customized Roles. I am trying to determine my best course of action to accomplish this. Thoughts and suggestions on how to handle the S3 security for HR and PA systems are all welcome.
