has anyone received this notice about actvie python/perl/tcl free edition is sunessting this month?
what is everyone doing to mitigate this? does infor provide the update for this or is it something that you have to get license from somewhere else?
The Infor Lawson Compatibility Matrix document references only “ActiveState” and not any particular ActiveState Perl license type, meaning a no-charge license or a chargeable license.Infor product management read the e-mail from ActiveState and also reviewed the following announcement on the ActiveState website:www.activestate.com/.../Infor Product management said, it’s up to the customer to obtain the necessary ActiveState Perl chargeable license, if they wish to continue using ActiveState Perl.EDITED on 9/21/2021: NOTE: Infor also supports Strawberry Perl so you can switch to if you no longer want to use ActiveState Perl.
