How not to overwrite an existing H5 customization on a program with the Import function

Hi,

When an H5 customization exists on a program at GLOBAL level (Exemple : APS450), what is the procedure to import a complementary customization on this same program and at the same GLOBAL level without overwriting the already existing customization?

Because if I use the Import function, this is what happens.

I have noted that there is a Merge function but it does not seem to treat an external file as a source?

hope you are well.

A way around this issue is to have a "dummy" user / role where you can import all external personalizations to. This way you are not overwriting the personalizations that are set globally. once imported you can then merge whichever personalizations you want over.

this process is the way I have currently set mine up.

Actually, I came to the same conclusion.

Too bad the standard import functionality doesn't allow to do it more naturally and we have to use devious means

Depend on customization itself You can use scripts instead.

But customization is not flexible process and very limited.
