Pay Code Set up for only shift differential
unknown
Good morning!
we would like to set up a pay code that will only pay the shift differential amount and not add it to the hourly wage. Has anyone done this? I can't figure if it's even possible with the PR20.4 set up or if i'm not setting up the code with the right criteria.

Put .0001 in the rate field on PR20.4. That effectively makes the base portion of the time record $0 and only shift dollars get paid.

We have one set up as a Calc type D with a rate of .0001 and the shift table.

We have a percent shift differential so i've tried the calc type of B and S and with the rate of .0001 and it's not working. it's calculating $0.
any other ideas?
