Shipping IT equipment and Office Supplies to Employee's Homes

With the movement to hiring more and more remote employees we have requesters adding new employee addresses to the PO's.  We don't want to set up individual employees as ship to's but want to be able to requisition in Lawson and get the items shipped directly to the employee's home most efficiently without any delay or confusion.  Is anyone doing this in Lawson and have a good process, pros/cons to share?

We don't do it directly for IT supplies (because we have the image loaded by our staff and then sent). However, we are a health care organization and have a home health component which would require medical supplies to be sent directly to these patient's homes. We utilize the Drop Ship function for these cases.
