W-2 and SSN

When we ran the PR299 for the W-2 the first person on the list (who has been with the company for a long time) has an error.   The error is stating 

* Social Security number XXX-XX-XXXX not valid.   (I used X's or the real SSN numbers) 

*SSA may reject this record. 

This is the correct SSN, and it has never been an issue before.   Has anyone ever had this issue?

i remember having this issue a while back, because there was an edit in place for socials but that was removed. Did you run it through accuwage and was it ok.
