Anyone using Strata for budgeting in FSM?

We are implementing Strata and are new to FSM. We are struggling with getting the necessary data out of FSM to feed to Strata.

Dewayne, did you ever get any replies? I do not see any here. We are actually using Strata and sending data to FSM and it is not coming over correctly. I came into this project well after this was established by a consultant. I would be curious if you were able to find any assistance. Thanks. DebbiSue

Are you using the budgeting module in Strata, and not the one in FSM?

We use operational budgeting within Strata with Lawson V10. With Cloudsuite we have leaders use Strata for Operationanl Budget. I do feel that the functionality in dEPM in Cloudsuite is compabable to Strata.

We have found some solutions for interfacing to Strata:

We have developed IPAs to send the setup files for:
- Job Codes (very straightforward selection of active codes)
- Pay Codes (very straightforward selection of active codes)
- Employees (another straightforward one)
- Payroll by Pay Period (still in progress)
- Departments (another straightforward one)
- GL Summary (we are only selecting a portion of the chart, but straightforward)
- GL Detail (we are only selecting a portion of the chart, but straightforward)
- AP info (straightforward pull of invoice payment data)
- Inventory info (Straigthforward pull from GLProcurementExpense) - this was like the MM280 from v10
We are still puzzling over the Purchase Order extract. If we were doing this in version 10, we would be pulling the PO135 and use its file. We are hoping to get some ideas on where in FSM to pull this.

Thanks for the insight Dewayne. I believe our current extracts out of S3 are using Sql, I haven't had a chance to think about or explore how to get that information without it in our toolbox.
