ION API transactions. Where can we query / analyze them?

Good Day Everyone!

In addition to M3, we use Rhythm for our Ecommerce Site.

From my understanding, Rhythm uses the /infor/M3/BDProcessor/ItemPricesService Web Service-API to get prices as someone is "Searching" for Items on the Web Site.

Obviously I can see these transactions in the Infor ION API Monitor...

However, I need track / analyze these transactions in more detail.

Does anyone know if these API transactions are recorded in a database that we can get to them?

Or if there is a log file that we could parse?

For what?

You can analyze them also in client side no?

All of those API transactions are customers searching for an item. So I want to know:

how many searches

when are these searches happening

which customers are searching

and for what items they are searching for

if there is a way to see that either in the client, extracting the logs, or querying a database that would be most helpful to know.

while i dont know if and where api transactions are logged i would guess that they are not since this would require some sort of storagespace to store them

BUT

you might be able to use cms045 (event subscription) and cms047 (event based alerts) to set up a notification based on a database trigger, that can notify you when someone executes a certain api and then write away the included search terms.you can then add a workflow in IONdesk to o process the data further .
