How to supress or consume Acknowledge.ContentDocument message

Hi,

When sending a document to IDM, an Acknowledge.ContentDocument is produced.

We have no interest in this document but we get an error:

com.infor.ion.container.common.exception.ServiceContainerException: Unable to handle BOD with bodtype: 'Acknowledge.ContentDocument'. There is no write or intermediate step that can handle the BOD. at com.infor.ion.plugins.webservice.adapter.internal.WebserviceAdapter.handleMessage(WebserviceAdapter.java:423)

How can we prevent this Error coming up?

Thanks Kevin, that makes total sense.

Is there a way of having the filter as the last activity? When we have it, we get an error:

"The activity cannot be the last one in the dataflow"

We tried the empty parallel node like in your example but then we got the error

"The container has an empty branch"

ION probably will complain if both branches are empty. Try adding something harmless like a Notify or Set Parameter in the branch which never evaluates to True.

The image was just to show the filter step. The parallel was to represent your additional splitter / enrich streams in your model.

It can't be the last step as in theory there are items passing the filter.

I put it at the front as I am only filtering the Acknowledge, all other Sync BODs would still be going through. They would flow to your parallel path.

Or create a separate flow for each BOD, one for ACK.xxx and one for Sync.yyyy
