Talent Management - Applicant References

Hi.. we are moving to GHR this year and as part of the upgrade are looking to move from our Third-party Talent system to Lawson's. We were told however that they do not have a reference feature in their Talent Acquisition product. We do see where we can move to their Talent Science for the Behavioral Assessment but do not see a separate product for applicant references. Is this correct that there is nothing in place to request and collect references on applicants within the Infor product?

If so, what are you using to get references? Does it integrate with a third-party? If so which one? Were you able to do something internally to automate the process?

Appreciate any information on this part?

Sylvie, We also have the same problem with TA not being able to collect references. We are a K-12 school district.

Although we purchased the TA and fully intended to move to it, we ultimately decided to stay with our current TA system. We started working on a potential 3rd party survey application to collect references to allow us to move to infor's TA, but did not have enough programming bandwidth to accomplish this. We do not import any information from our TA system. We enter information at the time of hire (address, etc).

Thank you Nancy for the info. We are a hospital and have too many hires to enter them manually so if we stay with our current TA system we will definitely need to figure out how to import the hires in.

Sylvie, we are using a third party product and we get files from them throughout the day that is processed through IPA so it is possible to import those records. We receive hires and rehires and I check for certain data elements before attempting to process them into GHR. Any issues are emailed to HR staff to resolve and have the record retransmitted. We also send back a file to the third party system nightly to attempt to keep their records up to date.

Thank you. That is encouraging. Your 3rd party wouldn't be HealthcareSource would it? That is who currently are vendor. We are just starting the GHR process. Just had the generic kickoff meeting last Friday but not formal training or work meetings yet. Can I ask.. do you import directly to create the employee record (what we currently know of as HR11) or do you import into an applicant record (what we currently know as PA31) and then create the employee record from there?
