As part of our security posture we patch all servers on a monthly schedule, managed by an Ivanti analysis and deployment tool.
This month Microsoft KB5010395 was released and after applying it on our LSF server we observed significant latency with the Infor web based UI's (Portal and Mingle).
There was no CPU, Memory or resource pressure in the LSF server VM.
We reviewed Windows event logs and engaged Infor support about this on 2/17/22 sending numerous Lawson logs but nothing was discovered.
After uninstalling the KB the UI performance went back to normal.
To rule out an anomaly, we reinstalled this KB today and the problem returned with screen response times increasing by 2 or 3 fold along with occasional "not responding" messages in Chrome.
The KB readme talks about updates to LDAP which we know is used heavily by Infor Lawson but there is still no smoking gun to pinpoint the issue.
Has anyone else experienced this problem?
