Backend authentication to sxe api https://sxe19.sxe.eu3.inforcloudsuite.com/sxe/Help

Hi All

I'd like to wire up ION API to Backend authentication to sxe api https://sxe19.sxe.eu3.inforcloudsuite.com/sxe/api. There are a couple of endpoints that I need that aren't part of the Infor Sxe Api in ION API Suite

However I'm struggling to find out how to authenticate the Target Endpoint. What credentials should I use here? Assuming there are some that can be used.

Richard,

If SXE has its own way of Endpoint security method then you need to use that in the Authentication type or else

You need to create an Authorized App as a Backend Application and Download the credentials with the username filled in.

Once you have it you need to mention those details in the Target Endpoint Security as OAuth 2.0.

Thanks for your help, I tried as a backend application, but to no avail. I'm still working on it, however you have given me a couple of ideas to try - I've also had good feedback from Infor Support who are looking into my scenario. It seems that authenticating against https://sxe19.sxe.eu3.inforcloudsuite.com/sxe/api isn't as straightforward as one would hope. I was getting a 302 response redirecting me to a link to a login page.
