A form needs to be read only except...

Hello,

I have been asked for the Logistics department  to make all the properties on the Items for read only except for: HTS Code and Country of Origin. Does that mean I have to make component privileges of read only for every property on the Parts form (except the two listed) or is there an easier and faster way.

Please let me know your ideas.

MIght be easier to create a custom form with Item, HTS, and CoO properties on it. Make the HTS and CoO properties editable on the custom form. Then, create a read-only group for the items form and put everyone that needs read-only access into that group.
