Is anyone using ADP as their payroll vendor? If so, what if any information are you feeding back into Lawson and how does that process work? Any words of wisdom or caution regarding ADP?
Hello, @jeidal . I have posed this question to our internal HCM Community group, and I will circle back here as soon as I have additional information.
Hello, again, @jeidal ; can you please let me know if you still need feedback on this request? I have not gotten any updates internally, but I did ask again today.
Hi Heather. I haven't gotten any feedback so I take that to be good news. Or it's really bad and no one wants to say anything. Either way, the papers are being signed this week so it's a mute point.
Thank you for checking in.
ADP has its limits, especially with reporting and what they can process and turnover timely. We briefly considered them many years ago but they simply could not handle the thousands of timecards we had on a weekly basis. There were also issues with when and what reports would be available. If you are a large employer with any complexity (e.g. unions, time clocks) they may not be able to meet your needs. However, for a more simple and low-volume payroll processing need, they may be fine.
Thanks for the note! Best of luck to you.
We use ADP Garnishment and Taxes with Lawson. The install was not bad and your IT can help with building some efficient programs to keep up with daily tasks if you have a large employee population. Account managers really make or break your experience with ADP.Word of caution: monitor the interfaces, balance the taxes and invoices as they happen to avoid complications.Let me know if you have further questions.
