Since implementing ILM in FSM we continue to see that closed or not applicable recalls have an alert on several screens including the item dashboard, RSS, contract management, and inventory manager to just name a few. In reviewing with Infor it is the current design that these alerts will stay on these screens for the life of the item even if the recall was only lot-specific and we will continue to use the item. We have entered this enhancement request so that code can be changed that when a recall is closed, marked as not applicable, or marked as duplicate the alert warning on item screens would be removed unless the recall is active. We would also keep the recall notice on the item dashboard as historical since our current workaround is to use a configuration action to delete the link to the item, but that removes the alert and also the historical notice.
