ISD Template Dropping Columns

Has anyone had the issue where you open a commonly used ISD template to find that some columns automatically get deleted in the spreadsheet, but the mappings in the upload properties still exist?  You then have to add the columns back in.  We have a journal entry template that we use and it is a pretty common occurrence.

We have had a few instances where something changed usually when spreadsheet was saved with upload properties open.  We were told to always delete the upload.  Makes it very time consuming when we have to insert the upload every time.  If others are doing something different and not having mapping issues or column issues, I would love to hear.
