Facts 7.2 - WindX 5.01 - Virtual XP on WIndows 7

Hi
I have a customer running FACTS 7.2...WindX 5.01...Windows7 machine running virtual XP....
Getting an error 'WinExec failed: return = 216'.
Any words of wisdom ??
My feeling is they are incompatible but there is some thinking since this is virtual XP it should fly.

I am not really familiar with that application but I can tell you that i have seen that error before was due to an installer that was not compatible with a 64 bit environment even though the program was. If this is your circumstance, there are work arounds you can find on the internet but it will require the use of an additional machine that is compatible with the installer. Hope this helps.

I have finally figured out a combination that works -
Use Windx 5.14 on the client, but then also update the PVX on the server side to 5.14. If you still have 5.01 on the server, and 5.14 on the client, you will end up with Grid breaking in places like Quote Print, SO print.
