We recently went live with Talent Acquisition and have run into an issue in rehiring past Employees and past and current Contractors that have a GHR record but are applying via the external candidate space. We don't provide access to internal Employee Space to contractors and of course past employees to not have access to to the system.
We have an indicator on the External applications that asks the question if they are a past Employee, but there is not a way that I am aware of to convert an External application to an internal candidate. We run in to the issue of Duplicate SSNs and the past information on the employees conflicting. We are trying to not make this a manual process of cancelling the external application then working with our Recruiting team to generate an internal application.
Has anyone dealt or resolved this issue?
