Large MEC messages

Hello,

We are running into some limitations in MEC with large Sync.SalesOrder and Sync.Invoice BODs. In some edge cases we have orders / invoices with a few thousand lines.

This runs up against a few different limits in MT CE.

1. MEC Processing timeouts

2. Large file size limit (5MB) in ION

What are some options for working around this? Is it possible to "Split up" BODs in MEC (MT Cloud) so that multiple BODs would be created, each containing a subset of the total lines? I was not able to locate any documentation about this topic.

You can't split. Your best option here is to split your customer orders (500 / 600 lines per order)

50Mo file is OK in ION but running a process in IEC for more than 3600 seconds result in a job killed by Infor.

Thank you for confirming! It was a typo, I meant 25MB limit in ION. We are proceeding with looking at ways to split the orders up front, as you suggested. Much appreciated!
