Hi Everyone!
We were thrilled to see the inclusion of pronouns with the May release. From the release notes and our initial testing, I recognize that the primary purpose of the initial implementation was to get the information available for Talent Acquisition and Transition Management. When toggled on, the pronoun information is currently only available to be seen by the employee and their leader on the GHR side and is not terribly visible as it is currently.
I am hoping that there are plans to add visibility to this. When looking at the release notes for June and July, I didn't see anything, but recognize that the enhancements may be planned for after that timeframe. See below for a couple of examples - the At A Glance & Org Chart views seem like basics, but could see it being appropriate to show on Goals / Performance / Safety / Employee Relations / Learning & Development / Benefits / Payroll spaces. Not necessarily to place on the goals or performance review, but basically any time a supervisor / HR / Course Instructor is interacting with the employee, it would be helpful to put a little reminder there urging people to use pronouns they may have selected.
Not sure if others have ideas here but wanted to mention. If this is something best added as an enhancement request, please let me know. Since the original field came from an enhancement request, I wasn't sure where the best place would be to raise the question. Would love to hear the thoughts of others on where they might like to see updates made as well.
Thanks in Advance,
Karen
1) Add details to “At A Glance” and do not restrict to employee and supervisor only. Make available to HR and others that may be able access this information (or something like it). In order to make these items easily translatable, we make our short descriptions numbers, so would love for this to display the description field

2) Make visible in the “Find A Coworker” section – part of the point of having pronouns indicated is that people know what they should be using when contacting you. Part of our concern is that if individuals indicate pronouns but no one uses them, it may be disengaging to that employee.

3) Similarly, make this field’s description an option for the Org Chart options. I know there is very limited real estate, but this would definitely be one of those items that we would add in if possible
