Carryover Balance Option for PTO Plan

Has anyone added a carryover option to an existing allotment plan in Lawson? Do you mind sharing how this is accomplished? We are wanting to test out an allotment based plan to allow 20 hours (as an example) to be carried over at the reset point.

I setup the Carryover Limits table under the limit rules (LP03.4) and assigned that to the plan on LP02. 

However, during our testing with our payroll team the reset point was in alignment with the payroll date but the carryover did not occur.

Hello there.  I have tested it but never used it in production.  I looked at my notes.  I found that you had to run LP140 across the limit reset point in order to get the carryover to take place.

On LP03.4, under carryover limit, did you fill out the unit and the carryover period?

In my testing, I was able to get it to work both ways...both with a carryover period where the unit and period are specified, and without.  The without scenario allows for constant carryover..meaning...the hours don't ever expire.
