Allow multiple vendor items for same vendor with same mfg number

Hi everyone-

We have some vendors/distributors that assign different vendor item numbers for the same item, currently Infor allows only 1 of those vendor item number records to have manufacturer information attached. Typically vendors have different vendor item #'s for same items due to packaging/uom and GPO.

We have scenarios where we have 2 vendor item records with the same vendor for the same item master item and mfg information (ex: distributors). Only 1 of those vendor item records has mfg information attached as system does not allow 2 vendor items with the same manufacturer information for 1 item.

Yes, this is problematic for when we have distributors who assign multiple distributor item #'s to one item. 

Currently we run into issues tracking usage and PO line accuracy because of this system limitation.
