Parts cost in Costed Bill of Material Report does not match with the Unit_Material_cost in Part-Site

Where is the Parts Cost in Costed Bill of Material Report is coming from? It does not match with the Unit_Material_cost in Part-Site Table. Is it the average cost of all FIFO layers?

Where can I find the FIFO layer cost for Parts ?

The estimated material/labor/burden/service costs should match Part Maintenance from the last time costs were imploded.  We use Standard Costs so a different setup might mean different results.  To find the FIFO cost layers, I would start in the Material Planning Window, and then select Info/Inventory Transactions for a specific part.  FIFO is first in, first out.  When an auditor wanted me to prove that we were FIFO, I used the dbo_INV_TRANS_DIST table to prove all the "In" and "Out" transactions by Trans ID.  I used colors in an Excel file.  Green was received in first and green is the first to go out.   Simple.
