FSM Data replication sets

We have a support ticket in but so far, they are not finding any answers so thought I would try here.

We run replication sets multiple times a day to pull GL data (gl transaction detail/general ledger totals)

We use that data with a 3rd party financial reporting package on premise

We recently identified on 6/30 9am EST time for our first replication of the day, that the files were blank. No errors/completed successfully but did not pull any data. So that meant we missed pulling gl data that occurred after 9pm 6/29 thru 9am 6/30.

We have been running these since August of 2019 and never had this issue.

Anyone else by chance encounter this?

1. Check if you can see any Processed data in ION Out queue

2. Replication set runs are incremental, any new changes after previous run will be extracted else there will be no extract.

Solution: You can either reset the replication set and run replication again, It will be run for long time since all data will be extracted.

In case you are send data direct to 3rd party application via ION, then you can create a new replication set and run them once (disable to Data lake flow till new replication is complete).

Check Async for errors if nothing found , Short term workaround / fix is to create update instance UserActions on those businessclass and apply on missing records , that would trigger the missing records immediately and next replication run set should pick those up.

We have encountered the same thing, opened a ticket and it has been identified as a bug that development is looking at. As an interim stop-gap measure we have put monitoring tools in place to ensure there are not files in the replication set with 0 bytes. In our experience, this usually happens with full replication sets with a significant number of files (100+) in the replication set. I don't believe we have recently encountered the issue with incremental replication sets. Probably not much help to you, but you are not alone.
