Requisition with negative quantity mystery

Anyone have a fix for this or a direction to send me on?

We've found a problem with a needle that is issued by the box from inventory. We had a requester ask for 200 boxes. We only had 28 boxes at the time, so that's what printed and was filled. 26 boxes were immediately returned for credit because they really only wanted 2 box (200 eaches).

That all makes sense. However we are seeing some really weird numbers.

There is nothing on WH25 as pending backorder. 

Allocatable shows 168 BX
Allocated shows (-168 BX)

(and deallocating on WH110 made no change)

The drill around by location shows a requisition with (-144) quantity.

Anyone else had this happen or have any ideas on how to fix it? It won't order because it is so messed up.

Is the shipment related to that req still open?  I've seen negative allocated quantities in our inventory many times but never really discovered how it happens.  My suspicion is that someone is deleting the shipment line rather than voiding.  When we get this I use the paint screens to fix.
