How to convert JSON to xml and vice versa

Hi,

I am working in on-premise ION, and we need to connect using 3rd party REST API. The data exchange will only be done through their API's and they will be sending data only in JSON format. I do not have JQ transform tool in the version of ION that I have. I need to convert the output I will be receiving from - sending to into JSON format. My question is how to convert JSON to XML and XML to JSON in the ION version which does not have JQ transform option.

Hi Veena,

I have not seen the on-perm version of ion. Can you check if you have the python script feature available in ION DESK. I use Python script in M3 cloud for the XML to JSON and JSON to XML.

Thanks for reply, I checked and there is no scripting available on my version of ION

Okay on the older version of MEC I used the custom process to develop a package to convert the XML to JSON and JSON to XML.

I used java packages to develop a process of my own. Please refer to the forum.

By referring to this I create a custom process for XML to JSON and JSON to XML MEC process.

Is there Python scripting available in on-prem ION?

Hi @kirill-kuchumov , ION Scripting is only available in Infor OS MT cloud.
