Hi has anyone had much experience with emailing out of credit Management? I personally havent & I just wondered about the following issue Ive come across.
Client has say 5 users that want to email correspondence out of CM
One user has tried & is getting an error message in SQL saying Transaction failed. The server response was: 5.2.252 SendAsDenied...hazelxxxxx not allowed to send as Nicolaxxxxx
Upon investigation, CM uses the SMTP settings set up in scheduler.
1) this is set up as Hazel as she is the payroll contact that emails out the payslips & her Office 365 account is being used
2) the message is hinting that we need to grant the permission on Hazles office 265 account to send out for the other users, which we can do
3) but does this mean that evrey email from CM will be sent by Hazel? I just cant see the reason behind logging individual email addresses in the system>maint>user profiles section if this is the case - but I could be barking up the wrong tree!!!
Many thanks
James
