Encryption in MT

Hi Everyone,

Please help to sort this out.

My requiement is the outbound file to be encrypted.

So in security managment->System Managment -> Service ,I created service and generated PGP key pair. Using the service in IPA, I created encrypted file.

My question is , I need private key to decrypt. In security managment->System Managment -> Service, I can able to download only the pubic key.

How to decrypt the file.

In this scenario the Landmark environment is the owner of the key pair meaning this will be used to decrypt incoming files from external sources where you have provided the public key.  An external source (vendor) would use your public key to encrypt a file and this file can only be decrypted by the Landmark environment using IPA.  

On the flip side IPA can be used to encrypt files that will be sent to an external destination (vendor), in this case the vendor is the owner of the key pair and will send you the public key.  The public key provided by the vendor would be uploaded to a security service for the purpose of encrypting files that only the vendor can decrypt.
