Using H5 SDK applications in Infor Go

Hi,

Is it possible to access an H5 SDK application in Infor Go? I did make some progress by creating a link to the application under "Admin settings -> Add application (Non-Infor)" and provide the URL to the application. The app does show upp in Infor Go but when I click it a "web view" will display an error message (I have attached a screeen dump).

The question is, is it possible to use H5 SDK apps in Infor Go and then how to configure it correctly?

Hi, that error message is in the Infor Go application but it seems Infor Go is opening the app in a web view.

Hi Fredrik,

First I don't know if this works, but I see no reason that it shouldn't. Except that you are using the wrong URL. In Mingle you can't have the URL that you see in the browser as the link to the application. You need to open the application within M3, open the browser tools and locate the iframe that is loading the application. The URL will look something like below. It's on a different host that Mingle.

https://m3xxxx.xxxxxx.inforcloudsuite.com/mne/apps/fashion?yyyyyy

It will have a lot of parameters, you don't need them so remove any query parameters. That is the path that you should have when you register the application.

Thank you for your reply. I tried to set the URL to: https://m3prdeuc1.m3.eu1.inforcloudsuite.com/mne/apps/customeroverview

I now get 400 response code.

Might there be som query param missing that is required?

Hi,

I did a test and looked at the headers and used a full URL. It seems to be a restriction in place to only allow the application to run as an application within the H5 frames.

It does not seem to be related to having a session or not, nor the query parameters.

I haven't been coding in H5 MUA for a few years but the conclusion here is that it's not supported to run the H5 SDK applications outside of the MUA / H5. So there is a prevention mechanism in place to verify that you are not accessing directly.
