Schedule Mappings in OLAP Modelling

Good day,

We are trying to move away from Import Master and I created some mappings in OLAP Modelling (Edit Database) to populate the OLAP dimensions and cubes. How can I schedule this on a nightly basis. We are using v2022.09 On-premise for our client.

Hi Ansa,

since you are on premise, my approach would be to

1. use any task scheduler, like the Windows Task Scheduler, https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/win32/taskschd/task-scheduler-start-page, to run your tasks on a schedule 

2. use a batch file calling the App Engine Process Execute tool (https://docs.infor.com/depm/2022.x/en-us/depmolh/default.html?helpcontent=application_engine_on-premise/krc1510174482528.html) to execute a process written in App Engine

3. in App Engine, use commands like ModelingExecuteHierarchyMapping and ModelingExecuteFactMapping (or any others, https://docs.infor.com/depm/2022.x/en-us/depmolh/default.html?helpcontent=application_engine_on-premise/whr1569577710020.html) to run the mappings.

Does this make sense?
