I'm getting in a form that i tried to extend, currently both forms based and extended are locked, any advise as how to fix this ?

Hi Hootan,
Check the Properties for the selected Component. Under the Design section, you'll find "From Base Form" set as True. Change it to False and this lock will disappear and you would be able to make changes.
