Currently our benefits are deducted on bi-weekly basis, but are billing for our benefits are on monthly basis. It is hard for us to reconcile each month. So we are wanting to change our benefit deduction to be semi-monthly, but keep payroll process on bi-weekly basis.
Questions
1) is anyone doing this currently? if so, what is the best way to set this up and test?
2) How do you handle benefits deduction when you have three pay periods in a month?
3) Would you create a new BN15 record if you change your benefit deductions to semi-monthly?
There are probably more questions, but I am new to Benefit side of Lawson. We are still on Lawson 10.
Any help or comment would be greatly appreciated.
