LID forward from print manager functionality lost in upgade to v10

Children’s is currently testing for implementation of Lawson v10, with scheduled go live of 6/22. The ability to be able to forward reports from one print manager to another user’s print manager or a distribution group is no longer available in LID v10. Children’s uses the LID forward functionality often to forward reports between users and work groups. I personally use this functionality to forward end of month, end of year, and end of physical inventory reports to a distribution group I Finance, as well as ad hoc reports that. I entered an enhancement request asking that this functionality either be returned to LID or added to Mingle/Portal.

As we heard at the last CPLUG meeting, during the Infor presentation, enhancement requests with votes are the enhancements considered for upcoming releases. Your help is needed! PLEASE VOTE!! Enhancement request ID: 32258.

We are still able to forward print jobs in LID v10.

You can still use distribution groups in v10. Our admins have access to LID, and we setup the distribution groups that way. When you migrate your GEN data from the 9x system to the 10x system, it will retain the user group distribution settings for you as well.
