Any utilities that need to be run after Extending an IDO or adding new properties to an Extended IDO

I have an extended IDO and as I add new properties or update the formulas of the properties I'm finding that it is inconsistent with what I need to do to refresh the data and see the new fields or new data in the forms. I usually just do a CTRL+U and sign out and back in, is there another step that is required after a change to an IDO?

Editing to add that I do Check Out the IDO, add the property, update the Implementation, Save. Then Check in the IDO. Then CTRL+U and sign out and back in.

Does this effect only my configuration or do I need to make sure that there is no one on the server or any configs tied to the server?

I have run it with users on the server.

Okay I tried to run it and received an error, so I don't think this will work with our setup.
