About RSS
RSS (Really Simple Syndication) refers to XML files that automatically update information. The RSS feed reader converts the files and the latest updates from a website into an easy to read format. The RSS feed in the RSS widget takes the headlines, summaries, and update notices from a web site (e.g., a news web site) and displays the articles on the website’s page. The content is distributed in real time; the most recently published articles appear at the top of the RSS Feed widget.

The RSS Feed widget includes the following features:
- Widget name: customers can define the RSS Feed widget’s name or use the default name.
- Introductory text
- Header background color: any hexadecimal color code can be applied to the header.
