Did you know about the Password Secret Questions widget?
Passwords can be forgotten, especially by employees who only access your HRSD site periodically.
Examples include:
- Taking the Preboarding, Onboarding or Offboarding tours
- During the Open Enrollment process (HR Knowledgebase)
- Checking one's annually updated Total Rewards statement
- Submitting a query in HR Case Management after a long absence
Instead of contacting your organization's administrators for new credentials, employees can retrieve their passwords on a self-serve basis via the Password Secret Questions widget.
When time and effort are conserved, revenue is preserved.

Applications
The convenient Password Secret Questions widget can be added to any HRSD site's Home page for all products:
- HR Case Management
- HR Knowledgebase
- Onboarding and Offboarding
- Total Rewards
What It Does
The Password Secret Questions widget reminds employees to be proactive. Setting up the password retrieval process now prevents hitches in the future.
It provides access to a list of easily remembered user-specific questions for employees to answer.
Secure settings reveal the password only when the user ID, organization name, and the responses to the pre-answered questions match.
How It Works
1. The employee clicks on the Password Secret Questions widget's hyperlinked name.
2. A page appears with a list of common questions.
3. The user provides answers to a set number of questions.
The setup is complete.

On the HRSD site's login page, when the employee clicks “Forgot your password?”, the employee enters the assigned user ID, the organization name, and answers the secret questions to recover the password.
