For 2023, we changed one of our paid holidays to a floating holiday where the employee can choose to use it anytime in the year. Our employees will receive the Float Day on January 1, 2023.
In setting up the Company Holidays for Self-service, Infor is requiring a date in the Holiday field to be entered. This works fine for 2023 since New Year's Day is on a Sunday and it is observed on Monday, 01/02/2023.
On the Company Holidays, Sunday, January 1, 2023 has been set up as the Float Day and Monday, January 2, 2023 is set as New Year's Day observed. However in 2024, New Year's Day is on Monday, January 1, 2024 and will be set up on that way on the Company Schedule. Infor will not allow two holidays to share the same day.
Has anyone set up a Float Day in their Company Schedule and come across this obstacle before?
Any help, ideas and/or comments are appreciated.
