Direct deposit to pay debit cards

Hi. Is anyone doing direct deposit to pay debit cards that are not associated with a savings or checking account? Do you just use Account Type = C on PR12? We are acquiring a group that currently does this and they have an account type of "D" in their current non-Lawson payroll system.

We are looking at this now to replace paper checks, but aren't sure how this might be done. If you have experience with this thank you in advance for sharing.

We allow employees to use prepay cards, and also acquired a group with pay cards from an ADP company. We treat them just like checking accounts and have never had a problem.

We set them up just like a direct deposit
