Dictionary of forms?

Hello,

Has anyone ever had success in finding a "Dictionary," of forms available in Lawson? Basically, a sheet that describes the purpose of each form on each screen? Its seems like something that should be easily available, but its such a task.

To just get a list of the form name and description I either query the table R_SCREEN in the GEN database or use "rngdbdump -c gen screen > screens.csv" to dump it.

For the cloud suite I have not.. but you can create your own if you have access to LID on previous versions of Lawson.

As long as you have super admin rights.. you can execute these statements in a batch file.

Set your environment variables... then...

Also like Greg - for Cloud suite we have not. But for now we can still access and use LID with admin rights. I can enter lapm which gives me access to the environment Utilities. From there I can access User Desktop > Application Text > Print Technical Text. Then by selection of web output, product line, System Code - I can get all the forms for that system or I can select individual forms. I run mine on our dev system so as not to slow down prod. When running the complete system code (ie. AP), it can get cumbersome on the system.

For Landmark based applications there is also the LPL Viewer in configuration console with allows the display and searching of all business classes, lists, forms, navs, etc as delivered by the production line.
