Employee Manager Self Service Bookmarks in Infor Lawson 10 - Ming.le

We are in process of upgrading to Infor Lawson 10.

We are interesting in hearing others reactions and plans for the new bookmark layout in Lawson 10 with Ming.le.

All the bookmarks appear to be under one button until you click which lists the parent bookmarks. Then, when you hover over parents, their children bookmarks appear. As soon as you click on one, the whole "tree" structure disappears and you start again.

We also have many parent bookmarks that actually have content. With the new display, it's not apparent to users they may want to actually click on a parent as the child bookmark is showing.

Our issue is more broad that that. We should have the option to have similar functioning [old] Navigation Panel. There are many employees who are only computer-literate enough to click on what they see. Version 10x Bookmarks are hidden in their eyes. It makes for a frustrating experience and, in the user's eye, contracts our phrases of 'Empower' when they cannot get to screen to perform Address Change. Let alone when Open Enrollment comes. For the self-service applications, the menus should stay after clicking on them or have a Portal Role based option to put them on the left side.
