Run Time on Resource Roster

I am not a frequent user of our reports, but I recently had to add 3 fields to an existing My Report roster, and it took >30 min to deliver. I understand ISD wouldn't have saved much time, that it's pulling from various business classes (Employee, Job, Supervisor, Work Assignment), and it's a bit of data (16k resources), but seriously, 30 minutes?? What is Infor doing to address those long run times? Scheduling or running after hours is not an option - I was fulfilling an urgent request from senior leadership.

+1 for this concern. CommonSpirit has lists that take up to 8 hours to export. We have 140k resources.

Ouch. We are in a similar situation - we have some reports that are scheduled to run at like 5a so they are ready by the time business opens for the day, and some reports like our HR Compliance reports (AAP/EEO/VETS) we have to start the night before so they are ready by next business day.

The recommendation from our CES was to submit a support ticket, that it's something prod/dev should be addressing. I haven't done that, since it seems on par with the other reports we run, and unfortunately our team is just conditioned to accept those run times.

what type of reports are these? Are you exporting the data to CSV/Excel? are multiple people running the same reports? Do you have a lot of configuartions?

In my specific example from earlier this week, I modified an existing My Report to include 3 additional employee fields (gender, ethnicity, disability). When I previewed the data within the platform, it looked great, then when I went to export to CSV is when it took over a half hour to produce. There was no one else running that specific report at that time. We have some configurations - what would you consider 'a lot'? Even so, the configurations are necessary for us to produce the data so we can have a meaningful review of our employee population - reducing them is not an option.

Could you share the LPL of your report? Or, take a screenshot of the Fields/Columns and Instance Selection on it?

To be clear, I'm not looking to improve the runtime of this one-off report. My concern is in general how long it takes for the system to produce basic data files.
