Hello,
Has anyone experienced some of the employee's federal or state selections being dropped off of the PR160 file recently?
We just ran into this with our run yesterday. People with high deferred compensation weren't having federal taxes taken out (we don't have state tax). There is a patch infor is installing for us (CTP125587). It looks to be in the second round of year end patching. We had that installed in test but not in prod yet.
Really any other instance other than deferred compensation? Seems like from what I am seeing employee's had zero and the PR160 didn't pull in for this reason.
We only noticed it for employees with high deferral rates on our 401k. If the employee had a bit of a middle rate then it would take out some taxes but not all of them. But maybe your issue is slightly different?
Yes, I think this is a little different thanks for your input.
We had issues with our first live payroll in 2023 (PR140) and Infor installed CTP 125587. Open a ticket with Infor if you have not already done so.
Yes, I noticed this happened with some of the employees with the 1st pay in 20203. Did their current selections disappear from the PR160?
Hello All. Just wanting to clarify. I'm a bit confused as to this being a PR160 issue. We installed CTP 125587 on Infor's recommendation hoping to correct a local taxing issue related to BSI Cyclic H but unfortunately it did not. That is an actual calculation issue (PR140). In our world, PR160 creates a file for our payment receipts (paystubs) and sends a file of net payments to our bank for ACH. Is the issue you're having related to the detail file truncating taxes or is this an actual calculation problem? So far, we have not seen the issue you're referring to but with all the BSI issues we've been having just trying to be proactive.
This is file that creates the pay statements. If the employee has zero taxes their elections are not included on the file.
