Exploring tools to allow my target audience to consume affirmative action data (hires, terminations, promotions) using a dashboard or extracting the data in a tabular format. Has anyone leverage Birst in this manner?
If your question is leaning more towards security, Birst has object- and data-level security. You can associate those users with Birst access to see particular Collections and Dashboards. The next level is to only show the pertinent data for which the user has access. There is a third aspect to security regarding what functions a user can perform within the Birst platform (i.e. exporting data, sending email notifications).
If the question is geared towards the functional area of Regulatory Reporting, then there needs to be an initial understanding of how to create a dimensional model using Birst functionality of Modeler Connect, Prepare, and Relate in order to use the prior stated security layers.
Possibly providing a bit more specifics as a follow-on question to this post, could assist others in providing a direct answer.
Thanks Diane. After exploring Infor Regulatory Reporting within the HR Talent module, the capabilities available will meet our immediate needs.
