We recently went from Linux/oracle to Windows/SQL Server on 8/8/22. Ever since -we have had intermittent issues (anywhere from once a week to multiple times per week) where all users, that are in PO20, PO30 or PO23 become hung in the form. If we wait long enough - we will end up with errors in the latm.log that indicate multiple looping lacobrts processes for PO20, PO30 or PO23 depending on which one is hanging. And once that happens - all the screens will release and the users can go back again using the forms. However, this is becoming a bigger issue because it is happening alot more often. This did NOT happen when we were on Linux/Oracle - it started the week after the move to Windows/SQL Server. I have a ticket open with Infor and they've been trying to troubleshoot it. They said we can compile the programs for trace and then the next time it hangs, we can see WHERE it is hanging - but we have ALOT of users that are using these forms and we can't start creating huge logs for each PID. A couple of times we got an error about running out of licenses as well - but that only happened once or twice when the forms hung. We are now leaning towards re-indexing all of the tables that are used by the PO processes or at least those that would most likely benefit from that.
Has anyone else run into this? If so - how did you resolve it? Any ideas? We've had alot of intermittent issues since going to Windows - but right now this is the one that is causing the biggest frustration for our users. Thanks in advance. We are on Lawson V10 on premise.
