Has anyone set up the Oregon family leave tax in Lawson? I thought I had done it, but I don't see it being withheld from the employee or employer side. Thanks!
We had an issue with Colorado FAMLI and found a CTP. Infor Support confirmed and it's for Colorado and Oregon: The CTP added Tax categories 117 and 118 for Colorado. We don't pay in Oregon yet so I didn't check for that state.

We have it set up and it is withholding. If you are using the state plan then PR05 tax category is 117 for employee deduction and 118 for employer deduction and BSI formula 1 for both deductions. Make sure that you have the tax types activated in BSI. And make sure you have the CTP that LNoles is referencing loaded.
What is a CTP?
I don't have those two categories. What is a CTP? I am not sure what you mean by having the tax types activated in BSI. I have never done that before. Thank you!
It's a patch that needs to be installed in order for the needed tax categories to be used
You would need to have the CTP (patch) installed into Lawson before you would be able to effectively setup the Family Leave Tax deductions. The tax types also must be setup for your company in your BSI tax system.
Thank you Paula, I will ask our IT team that handles that type of thing for help.
Is this related to the patch?
Hi Greg, we have installed the CTP that LNoles is referencing. I have mapped the new tax codes in BSI. I have set up PR05 for both deduction codes with the tax category and BSI formula you mentioned (although I do not know what this means or why and when I need to add a BSI formula (new and just learning BSI setup and mapping)?). I made sure the PR115 was ran, the PR113 ran and successfully added both deduction codes to the employee records. I ran the P0R140 and neither deduction withheld. I then ran a PR80 and the deductions withheld. I do have a case open with Infor but have not had an update on it since I provided the detail I mentioned here. Any ideas? Thank you.
Rachel,
Is this the update you are referring to? I need to let our IT team know what needs to be updated in Lawson so I can get this deduction withheld.
Stephanie
Stephanie, Yes, I am referring to CTP125596. However, I am having an issue with the deductions being withheld via the PR140. I am looking to see if I have mapped the two new deduction codes correctly in BSI, as well as working with Infor Support. I can provide updates here as I have them.
I think we have this set up, but won't know for sure until payroll is processed next week. Our IT department added the patch, we tested it in DEV, and now it is in PROD. I had to create new tax codes because of history, but I was able to use tax category 117 and 118. Fingers crossed this works. All for our 1 Oregon employee!
