Has anyone ever performed multiple month-end closes in the same month?

You can't for IC. It will flat out refuse. You have to go back in and change the flags to "reopen" it - and if AP has keyed in invoices, it will play havoc on your GL.
We did have PO135 run in update mode during the month once - we just ran it in report mode at actual month end and Finance did JEs to correct whatever they needed to.
