Reconciling Accounts Payable

For the first time in a very long time, my AP aging report doesn't match my GL account. I've spent quite a bit of time adding and re-adding my payments and my payable vouchers but have been unable to figure out the discrepancy. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to look for the error? Is there a query I could run?

There is an issue when voiding an AP invoice and the posting date in V10 SP2. Are you running your AP Aging through the end of the month or the current date? This will show all the voided invoices: You can make changes if you only want to see if for a date range.

WHERE VOID_DATE IS NOT NULL ;

Thanks for replying. We are running 9.0.5 and ran the Aging as of 1/31/23. I ran the query and it doesn't show any voided vouchers since March 2020.

THANK YOU! I added a date to this query for anything after 1/1/23 and found the invoice showing a posting date of 12/31/23. That is very much appreciated. I had been working on this for almost a full day.

We've had two different issues. One was a voided voucher. We weren't given the option to select a posting date, it automatically gave it the same posting date as the original voucher (which now is a closed month). Fun fun. We fixed by changing the posting date to the current open period - easy peasy. The second problem was a large amount vouchered in Month 4 but the receiver was dated Month 5. So the Month 4 Voucher removed the amount from Uninvoiced Receipts before it was actually received into Uninvoiced Receipts. So look for Voids and be careful of dates. Good luck!
