Feedback from "failed" Auto-Allocation. Is there something that tells me why? Enquiring minds want

Good Morning All!

We've got a handful of Orders that are "stuck" in Status 22, despite having Inventory Available. These Orders are not automatically moving to a Status 33.

Additionally when in MMS121 (Allocation Perform Detailed) and the Allocation Qty windows are open, pressing the Auto Allocate button does nothing.

Question: Is there somewhere, a log or something, that will tell me why the Auto Allocation failed? So I can run down any / all potential Inventory Issues?

Hi Steve,

I had the same situation than you, and there are differents configurations that can affect on the allocation.

There are MWS084 program to analyz the allocation that can be use from MMS080 related option 40 slecting the order to analyze, but there are not too much information from infor how to use MWS084.

You should check the allocation method on MMS002/G, the Dispatch Policy on MWS010 y and Allocation Control Celection on MMS123/MMS124.

I have the same situation .... Delivery Status in MWS410 is 00 .... instead of 05 ???

We have the same Dispatch Policy (MWS010) - Same allocation Method (MMS002G) for all our items ....

I saw that a KB exists .... but we already have the correction and it seems to not work ....

We don't know how to do ....

We have had similar, sporadic issues on our end with this as well. Dispatch Policy setting 030 is set to auto-release for allocation but every once in a while we have deliveries that get 'stuck' in status 00. Not sure if you are aware of the work around, but we simply use related option 31 "Release for Allocation" in MWS410 when this does happen. Hopefully Infor will resolve soon.

We have to go to MWS410 and release for allocation ...

Is the Planned Date within the Planning Time Fence?

Have you tried 'Release for Allocation' on the Delivery in MWS410 again to see if this is fixing the issue?

Except in CRS701 => Replanishment for soft allocation

I selected it .... We'll see ...

Yes, we have to release for allocation on MWS410 and it's OK.

I created a special sorting order where I can see all lines in status 00 => we select all lines and release them for allocation

but I think it's not normal ..... !!!

I agree, but you could create a Scheduled Workflow to 'loop through' all Deliveries in Status '00' and call API MWS410/RelForAlloc automatically to at least avoid manually handling this until someone finds the issue in that case.
