Decoupling AsyncAdministrator from JobConsole role

Currently when we add Jobconsole_ST role too users it automatically gives access to the AsyncAdministration area. We do not want general users to have access to his Major administrative area - as they could seriously mess up processes. We also are trying not to customize roles - as we have had problems with CUs 'breaking' custom roless. Has anyone been able to find a workaround?

Our solution was to create a new role with just the My job access and add that role to users.

Recommend not customizing the out of the box standard roles as CUs can wipe the changes out.

Create a 100% custom role i.e use custom security class to grant access to the functional/administrations tasks

and just OOO security classes for the base access(if you treat this as Add-on role even this is not necessary).

I did this for my customer almost 3 years back. Didn't have CU update issues for a long while I was there

Is Jobconsole_ST the exact Role that Infor delivered? I'm finding something named AsyncJobAdministrator_ST but that isn't matching your details. Thanks.
